Sodor: An Island located within the Irish Sea, just off the coast of Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria.
Most people know about the stories from before and after the 1940's but many do not know about what happened in between. Mysteries surround this time period of Sudrian History, especially with those mysteries background engines in many of the illustrations of the Railway Series.

This is Sodor, during the Second World War.

1967, the year before the end of steam. After Thomas, Edward and the other engines of Thesang managed to save a select few engines. More and more steam engines have been trying to escape to Thesang in order to survive the purge that is happening on the mainland. Whilst all this chaos is happening, Gordon feels the biggest pressure of all, with being demanded and pressured by control personally, he is being ripped apart inside. However, with the right engines around him, some he never expected to have. Gordon is seen as the only engine to save the remaining survivors of steam. Thomas steals a goods train from James in order to go to the mainland and see the world. All in all, things seem fine at first with him meeting engines from the other railway. However, several shady things start going on. The main one being the newly constructed Power Plant which is already bringing a sense of unease within the first few months of it first being established. Unfortunately, things soon go wrong as Thomas is not only imprisoned, but not long after, all hell breaks loose. Will Thomas The Tank Engine and his friends, both new and old, survive this nightmare? Some time has passed since Thomas and TFC return from London,Sodor have been throught a lot of changes over the years,The N.W.R have made improviments over the years with technology,areas have been extended and places were build,like a conteiner yard in a old yard south of Tidmouth,and new engines have arrived over the years,as well as some old friends,join Thomas and his friends in this new series of adventures on the Island of Sodor. (Just to clarify,the images used in this fanfic do not belong to me,it belong to it's creators,so is Thomas in general,every credits goes to it's respectful creators). (Also,events like TATMR,Day of The Diesels,Big World,Big Adventure movie and it's season are canon,but they happen very diferently then the original).

A young girl heads to Britain to learn about steam engines there, but little did she know she would be pointed to an adventure. Inspired by The Island Swansong by TheKnightTrain and Victor Tanzig's Stories of Sodor. This will be nowhere even close to as good as either of them, but they definitely inspired this! And some characters will be in the story while others not. I probably won't be consistent. Sorry.
