Uzumaki Naruto's life was far from easy. No parents, and no one willing to care for him meant life was rough for the orphan. Naruto had heard the rumors. The things the grown-ups would say behind his back, thinking that he couldn't hear them. But he always did.

Naruto was all on his own, no one willing to help him. Not even the Third Hokage, who'd promised to protect Naruto. Bullied and shunned by all, everyone terrified to even come near the fox-faced boy. It wasn't long before Naruto was fed up. Unable to stand another day of being either hurt, glared at, or just ignored. It was too much. So Naruto did the only thing he could to escape the misery that was his life at the Leaf village:

He left.

However, a seven-year-old can't exactly fend for themselves. While Naruto was able to defend himself in the Leaf, the vast world of shinobi is another matter entirely. But when Naruto finds himself in the hands of the Akatsuki......

Naruto now has a new family. One that accepts him for who he is. Unfortunately, Naruto has no idea about the truth behind his little family. To Naruto, Konaha is enemy number one, and must be wiped off the face of the earth. However, to Konaha, Naruto is a criminal, just like the rest. One who's evil in one's perspective, is a hero in the eyes of another..........

The real question is....who's in the wrong?

The village that betrayed Naruto?

Or the Akatsuki, who accepted him?
