With two years left till their official graduation from Milkweed Academy, the future moving into adulthood looks bright! At least, it used to. With the law of the land of Veronstone changing fast and refusing progress, the tension in the air has quickly thickened. Not to mention the requirements for certification becoming nearly impossible to reach. To top it all off, add in childhood friendships falling out in later adolescents and political turmoil taking over The Realm. How will Kyle and Sigmund fair by the end of the term? Will they even make it to the end of term? **IMPORTANT Author's Notes: **This story is rated Upper YA and faintly brushes on mature themes and war scenarios (nothing explicitly written, this story is NOT 18+). If these themes are triggering to you, please read with caution or skip out altogether. (This story is a continuation to world building that happens in both my "Kyle" story and "The Rise of Sigmund the Sorcerer" story. Neither need to be read, but it helps a ton for context and they're both good reads, so I recommend it! Enjoy!) Cover Illustration Commissioned by: IzzyFredpony

Kyle

After being expelled from Milkweed Academy, Kyle does his best to adjust to his new life in Galaxy Hills. Figuring out the life of the normal doesn't suit him, he decides to find his way back to Milkweed, but not without its challenges. **IMPORTANT Author's Notes: **This story is rated Upper YA and faintly mentions themes of childhood traumas and abusive situations (nothing explicitly written, this story is NOT 18+). If these themes are triggering to you, please read with caution or skip out altogether. (I recommend reading the final 3 chapters of my "Milkweed: Short Stories for Wizard's" book to be updated on the timeline of this story! Not necessary, but gives the story a little "oomf"! Thank you, so much, for your time!)
