Jake Ryan is the school's player who's had his fair share of girls. 

When Peyton and her mom go out to a Chinese buffet, all is normal until she sees Jake and his family there. 

What gets stranger is that both get the same fortune from a strange Chinese waitress: "You shall see each other's life in each other's shoes." 

The next day, both wake up in each other's bodies. As they work together and try to figure out how to switch back, feelings rise and Peyton wonders if maybe swapping bodies with Mr. Player wasn't so bad after all.
