Beauty and innocence often surprise by their thorns, for when they are desecrated, the monstrosity and villainy that replace them contrast with their former charms. Thalia was one of those tender buds which promised to blossom into a graceful and sumptuous flower, but which fate had chosen to corrupt to the core."

During the Dark Era, the world gradually capitulates to the invasion of the armies of death thralls, led by the necromancers of the dreaded Witch of the Abyss. No one is spared. In this universe where the gods have long since decided everyone's destiny, all eyes are on Thalia, who is trying to break free from this web. Coveted by her own people as well as by her enemies, the young girl tries the impossible to escape those who wish to get their hands on her. Hunted and tormented, she will have to hold on her remaining humanity.

Can we escape causality? Or must we accept to walk in its footsteps? The answer may lie in the forest of demons, at the centre of the world, where the Sun and the Moon rise and set...

Fate is patient. It will wait.
