What happens if we were to play with the extreme, and decided to punish all crimes committed, no matter how minor or major, in the exact same way? What happens if we equate running a red light to murder? Playing with the ideas of extremism, "The Gray Column" follows a series of events through the lens of Joan Idle as she navigates a world in which all crimes, big or small, receive the same exact sentence: death.

You deviant felons! I have warned you insolent fools before, and I ought to alert you again, do not direct such folly at me! You wish to know my tale, do you not? How insistent! But very well, please do take a seat and calm yourselves, for I shall recount the incidents that led me to commit the deadliest sin of all. (Note: not all that beautiful, full of sarcasm and stupid people) (The original picture used for the cover belongs to its rightful owner)
