Once a feared, praised 'deity' to a cult, now just a shaking, weak hedgehog who fears death more than his enemies. Who even was he anymore? After killing his only true friend, he awoke centuries later in his tomb, holy water engulfing him. The reality of Shadow's mortality took a tole on him, wracking and haunting him at every turn. Following saving Sonic and friends, he learns the ways of life, puzzled by their detachments from their own mortality. The blue blur especially didn't seem to care about his life, throwing himself into dangerous situations for strangers. It was something he admired, in a way. What started as curiosity, turned into respect and a longing of some kind. A mutual one the two had to address.
Amy's health struggle
After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover. This doesn't really have much plot like my other stories I just wanted to write my own experiences through my favourite characters and mostly just explore the relationships with Amy and the rest of the gang Based on true events Art is not mine! The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out. Demons. Bloodthirsty, savage killers. They don't care about anyone other than themself and will stop at nothing to get the job done. They claim to be Gods. Mobians nicknamed these demons "EXE." Their master is unknown. They come out of nowhere, mainly at night, and kill. Heroes. Heroic, brave Mobians who come out of the shadows to stop the demons. They're the ones celebrated, they're the ones loved. They care about others. There is a lot of heroes in the world, just as much as demons. They also come out of nowhere, mainly at night as well, and save lives. What if a hero and a demon fell in love? Knuckles the Echidna is a hero. Somewhat gullible but short-tempered, this echidna isn't someone you want to mess with. In terms of muscle, he's the strongest hero around, but when it comes to smarts and speed, he's the weakest. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Sonic the Hedgehog is a demon. Somewhat snarky but kindhearted, this hedgehog is a bit cowardly when it comes to fights. He was never about fighting and violence like other demons, he just wants freedom and peace. Bullied for his secret morals, he sneaks out for the night. What if these two were to cross paths?
