Following a plague that wipes out almost the entire human population a group of friends struggles to find a life in their new world. As they carve at that life they must not only survive, but they must also protect themselves from those who would take what they have.
This is the story of one of those desperate souls. Told in his own words in a 25 part journal.

The end of the world is something that is ignored more often then we think. We think everything is fine... that the end is not near but what if it's closer than you think? My best friend was most likely one. I ran from her. My parents were one. I shot them. This really cute guy was one, I nearly shot him before he came running and screaming at me like a stupid idiot. This really cute guy wasn't one. After witnessing her dead teacher come back to life, Leo decides to go on the run. Armed with a backpack full of essentials (does portable chargers count?) and her Dad's rifle, she learns to survive with the help of new friends. The End
We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' .
