Following a plague that wipes out almost the entire human population a group of friends struggles to find a life in their new world. As they carve at that life they must not only survive, but they must also protect themselves from those who would take what they have.
This is the story of one of those desperate souls. Told in his own words in a 25 part journal.

The End
We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The end of the world is something that is ignored more often then we think. We think everything is fine... that the end is not near but what if it's closer than you think? After a science experiment gone wrong a toxic gas is released into the air killing millions... or so we thought! What if these people aren't really dead? But during a zombie apocalypse, when you get desperate, you're desperate. When you're out of options, you need to do what you need to do to survive every day. Sometimes, it might not always be ideal. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete.
