This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. When I was writing it there was a whole bunch of other stuff going on so I was rushing away too much to actually get it done. Content warning: Contains graphic descriptions and extreme violence. Reader discretion is advised. Note from the future - This is very cringy now that I look back at it. I ended up rushing to finish it after like chapter 4 (which shows) so just warning the quality gets worse as it goes on T-T. That's something else entirely. And then there's the kicker-because of course there's a kicker: she dreams about him. She dreams about him and his brother (her best friend), showing up at her new life, dragging her back into the world she thought she left behind. So, the question is, what do you do when the guy you love is the one pulling you back into the very thing you were trying to escape?
