While I was alive, I was slightly psychotic. My best friend, Louise Tanning, and I are the crazy rebels in my school. Other than that, I was completely normal. Some people, however, didn't think that. But I'll get to that later."

At seventeen, Ariadne is almost painfully ordinary. There's nothing special about her.
Until she gets kidnapped, and then murdered.
It's not all bad. She's got a sexy ghost guide, Nick, to help her get used to the afterlife. But she misses her life, her family, best friend Lou and her would-be-boyfriend, Chris. She watches as they pick themselves up from her death, and slowly, she's healing too.
Soon, she's battling her growing feelings for Nick and her lingering ones for Chris. It's difficult to decide who has her heart, and then comes the day she finally needs to make her choice.
