Eragon and Saphira travel to the Floating Crystal of Eoam after strange reports of it causing strange occurrences on the island. Tales of death and shadows, and people that go missing... Are these the shadows that Solembum warned him about?
A short ghostly fic set after the events of the books, as well as the Fork, the Witch and the Worm. What will Eragon and Saphira discover? Will he ever return from the island?

My name is Umaroth Ajikson. My father and sister died in a fire, my mother died shortly afterwards. I've been living in the Spine since shortly after that. However, one day I saved someone from dying by a bear. This person was travelling with another person and a dragon. My life just got a whole lot more interesting. I joined the trio on their travels with my trusty stallion, Istal. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, must take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds.
