Corsica

Technically, it is a tourist's island in the Mediterranean that has been a region of France for over 200 years. It is 99 miles from Nice, France and 51 miles from Tuscany, Italy. It has an area of approximately 3351 square miles. The island is one of the most popular vacation areas in Europe.

But for me, it's so much more.

It's a place filled with so many new things, things that aren't in your tour guides, things that are hidden from the stresses of modern life. Things that are pure and simple, things that are corrupt and complex. Things that are rugged and independent, things that are fragile and vulnerable.

Things that have changed me.
