Oliver didn't have much of a choice and neither did Elizabeth and Archer. They were forced to be secretive. Their lack of social skills and desire to be around people, constant moving, paired with their mothers' dangerous jobs and strange visitors gave them limited options. They knew more than anyone wanted them too, whether others even knew that or not. They only grew more attached to one another and maintained their reserved exterior.
After a series of events their mother is found dead and they are brought into the custody of an older woman named Charlotte while living arrangements are made with their estranged family. What could be better than the police pressing for information, moving to a different continent and living with strangers that don't have the warmest arms? Just about anything.
