"Our Paper Crowns" follows multiple perspectives on a journey through a country built of danger ridden deserts, exotic jungles, and chaotic oceans. The story follows both their physical adventures, as well as their path to becoming their true selves in a court of military, political, and romantic intrigue as their country topples on the edge of brutal civil war. An uptight, wealthy boy searching for his sister must learn to trust a street rat and a convict, a sweet girl learns to stand up for herself and her secret beside her loud best friend, a young man struggles to judge his own morality and the morality of those he trusts, and a young show runner fights with himself on whether to protect his people or his future. In this series of interwoven secrets and plots for the throne, no one can seem to find the right answer. Everyone is wearing their own paper crown.
