When a chance encounter under the light of the moon brings a nakk who is standoffish and balky towards people of the other mortal races, especially humans, yet protective of those she trusts, and a caring, curious, and peaceful elf together, the two must soon learn how to work with each other as the principle products of Turm's jealousy and spitefulness, the Plague Creatures, as well as those with malevolent intentions, continue to roam the land.
