little back story, almost everything is lined up with the show, but Lance and his older sister got taken by the Galra, Hunk and Lances family were the only ones who showed they cared about the two disappearing. Matt never went on the mission resulting in his capture, so when the scene where they find Shiro in episode 1, it was Matt flying the Blue Lion instead of Lance, also the ages of the characters will not line up as it is sort of the only way this fanfic will kind of make sense, fast forward to where Lance (who is still missing) Hunk and Pidge are 16, Matt is 17 , Shiro is 24 and Keith is 17. We all know Lotor, the DICK, well he has all his partners in crime and all that but, he has two bodyguards, not his partners in crime, and yes, I know that Lotor is 10,000 years old or whatever but for this fanfic Lotor is a bit younger, Hes like 18, anyway when Lance and his sister were taken, they were tortured, but when Lances older sister wouldn't break and kept her spirit, she was killed, Lance is a different story, sense he was at such a young point in his life he was easily broken, his memories were erased, and new ones took present, fake ones. Lance was also used as an experiment for the Galrens, he was tested on and given different liquids of all sorts, resulting in his DNA spiraling and holding some Galren. Keith never left the Paladins, but he is still Galren, and when Lotor escapes his father's clutch he offers an alliance between him, his partners in crime and his two bodyguards. Vrepit Sa, reader.

In a world, a long, long time ago, lived a crystal. The lands flourished and bloomed until the crystal cracked, the shard lost to time. Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story. Scattered among the Stars
The Paladins of Voltron are missing, only Coran Shiro, and Princess Allura got out of that battle. The black lion was the only one to make it back to the castle. Then lions Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow where all taken with their Paladins. The green Paladin hasn't been heard from longest, Katie was separated due to her scientific mind and technological mind/ insight. The only thing know about her, is that she is never in the same prison too long. Keith was put in a cell only drones can access, due to his Galra roots. Lance is on the same ship as Keith, but in a standard cell, he is just trying to figure out a way to get him and Keith free. Hunk already escaped, and got his lion, he has been making a b-line for the Balmera and Shay. He was in the lowest security cell, so broke out pretty easily. The Galaxy has been searching for their heroes, the Paladins of Voltron, and they get closer every day. The Garrison have been trying to get in contact with the Paladins for years now, unaware that those who they need to rescue them, are the ones in need of rescuing. Different situation to the end of season six and of season seven. I know this isn't what happens, but this is a Fanfic, not the actual thing. Go to Netflix if you can't handle this, but seriously.
