In their early childhood they only wanted to be friends and they became something more later on, it wasn't lovers but it almost came out to be. They met again a few years later.

Adrian Zinon, his father never showed any care for him, his mother did but that didn't seem to satisfy him and fill his fathers love, when he did care about his son there was always an intention behind it. His fathers business kinda ruined his life, always busy, never cared for his kids, it took over his mind aswell as Adrian's, as he knew one day that would be his company, it wasn't really a choice for him since his father would go through any lengths to make him a workaholic to take on the business and force it upon him, and that's exactly what he did but he wanted something more, he wanted to be loved and she made him feel happy and worth something.

Adelina Valentine, honestly where do you even start?? her life is a mess. living in a mexican household was probably the thing that made her the person she is now, the environment especially messed up her mind and her perception of many things to where she thought toxic was normal love obviously from watching her parents, she'd think about them from time to time or just whenever she was in a relationship, she didn't want to be like them, she didn't want to be like her mother always standing on the sidelines only for the money. so she always ended the relationship before it got deeper and it mentally destroyed her she was just desperate for love and he gave her that.
