According to folklore, a massive storm is a sign that the sky god is unleashing his unquenchable anger. They claimed that the only person who can calm the sky god's wrath is his real bride.

Every year, a young woman was chosen to be the bride of the sky god, or in other words, to be sacrificed, in an effort to stop the disaster.

On the other hand, Raia was done with her life. After being left out by her deceased mother she doesn't find the world worth to live anymore. Day by day she felt lonely and empty as there's no one she can rely on.

Up until the day she made the decision to end her life in order to fill the void she felt with a wish. "I want to die yet I'm afraid of dying. I want to live yet living is tearing me. I wonder if there's a boundary between them. Between life and death. Between living and dying. Between of everything. If there is then I want to go beyond the boundary."

She then suddenly woke up in spirit realm. A realm that exists as a boundary between life and death. And learned that she was chosen to be the Sky God's bride.
