What would've happened if Bobby had let Buck back to work before the tsunami? What would've happened if Christopher's school had taken a field trip to the pier that day anyways? 

Because let's face it, no matter what changes are made to the timeline, Buck, Eddie, and Chris will always be brought back to the tsunami, one way or another.

Buck wanted to go home. He wanted nothing more than to be back with his family and to go home. Things had been rough this last year though, first his leg got crushed, he had a pulmonary embolism, he was told he couldn't come back to work, and then there was a tsunami. Even with now being allowed back at work after making the mistake of filing a lawsuit, things were still a bit strained. His family and home still felt like they were an arm's length out of reach. Then, things get even worse somehow when he and the rest of the team get sent to see Dr. Wells after a particularly rough call.
