Twenty years later (2035) Elena has had enough of Stefan and Damon, Caroline chooses to join her for a holiday, a chance to get away from the Salvatore's. Unexpectedly, Caroline has her holiday romance planned; Klaus joins them, Elena feels let out, but at the same time Elijah has joined his brother on the journey.
