In this modern, noir-style twist on the DSMP characters, brilliant detective Wilbur Soot and his partner, Tommy, are tasked with a puzzling case: the murder of Karl Jacobs. The further they dig, the more ensnared they become in the town's most influential and corrupted: the two rival gang leaders that run the city, the underhanded CEO of Schlatt and CO, his son and Tommy's forgotten childhood best friend, the cogent Mayor Dream and his husband, local jazz icon Ranboo, and more. By the blade of a ruthless killer, the blood of secrets and ugly truths seep through the cracks of a broken town. Who will find themselves a victim? What lies will stain the town red forever?

A DreamSMP Fanfiction with Ranboo our beloved as the main character. Ranboo started to hear the voice of a man said to be named Dream after his sixteenth birthday. He lives somewhere in England, his family in America. He moved to England to get some more action into his life, do something new. But ever since he started hearing the voice, nothing's been the same since, and not in a good way. On the same day of his birthday, he got a package in the mail. The address was unknown, and inside the package was a book with a title that read "DO NOT READ". There was a lock on it, so he couldn't read the book. He has it kept on his bookshelf now, in case he might ever need it. The voice started to tell Ranboo things he shouldn't be hearing, things about how this world isn't real, and they're all variants of another. He's tried to pay no mind to the voice, but day by day it gets louder, and more vivid with it's wording. It's even started to show him visions of events uncomfortably similar to things that have happened in this world..Concluida

Tw for smoking, mentions of death, swearing, and all the things that come with a murder mystery and mafia au! The two biggest organized crime groups did not get along, to say the least. The Las Nevadas Mafia and the Syndicate were far from the best of friends. But, through a tangled web of corrupt police chiefs, blackmail, and an unaccounted murder, the new bosses of each group, Quackity and Wilbur, are forced to work together to keep both of their respective mobs out of prison. "Twelve and a half years now," Tommy said to himself. He looked at the silhouettes of the others. He could sense that they were all demoralized. No one could revive them now. "You're horrible," Schlatt said. "I'm just counting the days, man!" Tommy said. "What else am I supposed to do? Socialize with you maniacs?" Dream laughed, accidentally breaking character. "Yes. Yes, that is what is expected." "Shut up, Dream!" Tommy shouted, forcing Dream to become the hopeless murderer again. "You're in no place to talk! You caused this!" "You killed us!" Dream countered. "I-" A horrid pain spread from the centre of his torso. It was painful, but also really, really cold. Then it all went black.
