When Rheese Bennett returns to her childhood home in Hope County she never would have guessed her life would take such a drastic turn of events. Signed up for an inofficial investigation job to dig up dirt about the new local religious cult Eden's Gate, she sets foot into their world, quickly finding true friends, emotions she'd thought lost and a whole lot of trouble.
This story is a pre-quel starting in 2015 that will lead into the game's timeline eventually.
There are two unreliable first person narrators: Rheese and Jacob.
