After Julie Flores and her mom face a horrific tragedy, her mom decides it's time to start fresh. They move back to her hometown Hawkins in an attempt to escape their haunting pasts. Julie is against their move until a certain boy catches her eye. Julie must learn how to battle grief and the danger that lies ahead. Otherwise, they will consume her.
