In the Sanctuary of Perditae, everything is perfect. At least that is what the government wants you to think. Truth is, living is more deadly than it should be. Livilla knows this more than anyone. Her story starts when she receives a much anticipated letter saying that she has been selected to breed with a "flawless" man to maintain the population. However, she does not want her future to be decided for her. She especially does not want a child either. She sets a plan to end the government's corrupt ways, but can she do it?
I'm still coming up with the story as I go, so please bare with me. I will be reading comments to get a feel of what ya'll may want and also to help me progress the story. This will be my first story and I want to try to complete it. I'll just have to see how it goes. Also, please note that this started back when I was in creative writing and this story started then and it will be the first chapter. (what I wrote then) I really want to know what ya'll will think of this so please let me know
I also plan on creating my own drawing for the cover but if I don't this message will still be here and please know that, that means the image does not belong to me. The story, however, does.

My life turned upside down when I was 13 My father was murder right in front of my eyes by his own brother My mother betrayed me and my father When I was 13 I was thrown in a cell and haven't seen the light since 5 years later I was finally let out of my cell And was told I had to fight for my life ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After the war that destroyed mostly every thing in America, in order to survive three major cities were built to help restore what was lost. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up. Even though she would be reminiscing old memories And meeting someone who can ruin it all Whatever the cost is she is willing to fight. Reverants have a feudal system over the zombies to "keep them in order". The luck may have had to do with them being upper-class when being treated. Basilica is their representative. At eighteen, she wanted body modifications, a job, and etc... as a rite of passage entering adulthood. At least that's what she was thinking. The more she was told no, the more she wondered what she could do. There are still uninfected humans left in the U.S.A. Most of them are middle-class. Katrina is their representative. She gained a family member, but lost two. She aches to find out why she can never return home again. The three eighteen-year-old females, along with their beaus, journey for truth, equality, justice, restoration, love, and freedom lead them to the same end: the capital. Three years before the events of Cyberpunk Edgerunners, a former Nomad named Michael used to work alone as a Solo. However, that changed when a Gig gone wrong led to him joining none other than Maine's crew. After running with the crew for some time, he ends up putting himself in mortal peril to save his crew. Seven years later, in the year 2081, he is reawakened by the Arasaka Corporation in an unfamiliar mechanical body, and learns that everyone he once cared about is gone, including his mainline. With the love of his life taken from him, Michael has lost the one thing he had left to live for, so he vows to get revenge against Arasaka, and to kill Adam Smasher, the Merc who murdered his mainline in cold blood. In his fit of rage, he meddles in affairs he shouldn't have, and inadvertently causes a breach in the Blackwall, leading to a demonic AI cult known as the Tenebrium Collective breaching the new Net, and posing a threat all of humanity. I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity.
