Things as simple as an arranged marriage was some what normal to people in her world. The world full of gangs, mafias, sex, drugs and crime, was something that the only daughter of the crime boss, Ragnar Lothbrok's favourite lawyer was used too. Torvi Nelson, just never expected to be pulled straight into the world, especially to end up in an arranged marriage to the one and only Ragnar Lothbrok's eldest son. Bjorn Ironside-Lothbrok. 

Bjorn has a lot of baggage from previous relationships, including his own relationship with his newly formed wife. Before Torvi the man had been married three times, all ended in divorce and children. Torvi herself is known for a little scandal involving her ex-husbands, Jarl Borg and Erlendur Horkisson though most of her drama involves something to do with her children to each partner.
