The BAU were not ready for the arrival of Aaron's Hotchner's secret daughter. not even Hotch himself was ready for her. But when the secret love-child of Hotch and Kate Joyner appears in the FBI's Behavioural Analysis Unit in Quantico, it's the attention of Dr Spencer Reid that allows Agent Brenda Melanie Joyner the one chance she needs to prove everything.

"Do you love her?" He asked, looking down at me again suddenly.

"It's a simple enough question. You loved Maeve and you lost her, I need to know if you love her too so I can be around to make sure you never lose her." I forced the lump out of my throat by swallowing hard, clearing my throat and rapidly blinking my eyes without looking at Morgan's pressing stare.
"The truth?" I asked, glancing back up at him and he nodded. "I've loved her since the day I sat on the other side of a door and realised she was about to die and I wasn't."

Mia Collins just wanted to get through her senior year of high school with as minimal awkward situations as possible. However, that's kind of hard to do when you have a narcissistic arch-nemesis who's hell-bent on ruining your life. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he seemed to take an immediate dislike. After all, it only took a measly few hours of knowing her for him to kick a soccer ball right at her unsuspecting 11-year-old face. Though they did not know it then, this iconic moment would mark the beginning of what felt like a lifelong feud. Six years later and their mutual hatred for one another is still very much alive and kicking. She despised him, and he despised her and that's the way it always would be. But what happens when sparks fly, and stomachs flutter? Will someone break the eternal feud? One's thing for sure- Mia will definitely not be the one to break. ----------------------------------------- If you're looking for a hilarious, light-hearted teen-fiction book, with a whole load of embarrassing situations, this is the read for you. Highest ranking: #1 in Teen Fiction -- "Sunshine, what guy do you know has a weird fetish with sign language?" She's the aftermath of a high school party nightmare. Tragedy robbed her of her innocence and stole her voice before she had the chance to speak out. The court called her a liar, and the guilty was set free. Now memories plague her mind and trap her in solitude. She was forced to learn sign language, struggling to find a way to voice her silence. He's the definition of the boy she tried to stay away from. The epitome of harsh rumors and hopeless fantasies. The source of lies and blame. He's analyzed, misunderstood, and utterly mysterious. And he may be the one to find her voice. When they meet, she gets accustomed to his arrogance and he gets accustomed to her silence. An essay is what brings them together, but what happens when he starts asking too many questions? Will her past continue to drag her down, or will he save her? Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, but it doesn't always work how it's supposed to. *different summary inside* "Perfect amount of tragedy, humor, and romance!" -Sparkles530 "I feel like I learned a lot from your story, thank you." - 980Sarah "This book is beautifully written.
