There is darkness in the world, anyone can see that. No powers required. It's what they don't see, however, that I hunt. While the humans fear mere wisps of shadow I stalk the darkest of terrors. I stand between humanity and the beings that threaten all of creation. That is what we are taught anyway. Not that the humans would ever be grateful, they don't even know that I exist. Go figure right? All the guts, maybe some slime, and none of the glory...

A war, eons in the making, rages between darkness and light behind the scenes and I am a soldier on the front lines. Serve, die, resurrect, and serve again. Such will be my fate until the war is won or some higher power decides to wipe me from existence. Quite frankly, I don't think either side deserves to win. I'm coming to understand that not all that is dark is evil, and not all that is light is good. 

I am Wulf, defender of humanity and keeper of the dark world, for I keep the shadows at bay. You're welcome...
