We follow Katya Winslow, an 18-year-old who lives in Area 02 of the Phantom Islands. She's always been particularly curious about Area 01 that has existed ever since an industrial explosion that took place 20 years ago. However, Area 01 is infamous for its dangerous nature as thick walls of concrete seclude it from the rest of the world. Only soldiers enter and leave the area. Katya joins the army in order to escape her toxic home, discovering not only many new friends in Area 01 but also the mysterious disappearances of countless colleagues and inhabitants. Will her past reveal the truth about area 01? She will have to fight for her life to find out.
