"This was always going to happen. She's been dead since the beginning."
- Aeschylus

It is a child's dream to outwit fate, to somehow escape the great ending that awaits us all.

But Orianne Fernwood would burn the world if it meant a moment longer with her love. Damn it all; not even the Gods could stand in her way.

Arthur Dayne would sacrifice all that he holds dear, his honor, and reputation, to keep his heart safe. If he was given a choice between his white cloak and Orianne's safety, there is no question of what he'd choose.

It is a tale as old as time, two lovers railing against the bounds that hold the very earth together as if they alone can break free from what is written in the sky above them. Still, they will try and try, and still, they will fail.
