The males go on a long search to find that one perfect pebble to impress their female mates. Lianna is homeschooled, living in practically the middle of nowhere in the state of Utah, and the only friends she has are either online or penguins. Yes, penguins. Her mother is a marine biologist, and together each year they take a three month trip to study in Antarctica. Lianna takes after her mom, keeping a notebook of all the species she observes down at the bottom of the planet.
