At the reception, Jace takes Clary to the dance floor and starts with a speech that sounds like he is ready to propose to Clary, so she interrupts him by telling him how much she loves him, and after she passionately kisses him, says she needs to get air and leaves him standing on the dance floor. Jace stands there looking at her, feeling that something is off with Clary, and says "I love you too." after her. He decides to look in their room for her and finds a letter telling him of the punishment that the angels gave her, and that she would no longer have her memories of him, but that she would always love him. He falls to the floor and screams out because he has lost her again. He vows that he will love her from afar and will always protect her. What happens when and If Clary regains her memories? What happens when Jace makes a discovery that will forever change Jace and Clary's lives? Jace will have the biggest decision of his life to make. What will he decide?
