Michelle and her younger half sister, Olive have both come from Madison for their dads job. But with the tight spots for auditions it creates tension between them both and Emily, especially since Olive has an offer from another studio and  with Olive trying hard to fit in with everyone already, the tension between all the e-girls makes that hard for her. So with Emily trying to get her out, it tears apart the team throughout their time there

James was like a fun escape with his always high mood making her feel better when she had no one to talk to but with his grades slipping they may not get to spend as much time together as hoped

She's been dancing there for most of her career, in Baby Ballet at first, then J-Troupe, then B-Troupe, and now, her dream is to get to A-Troupe, TNS's competition team. They all seem to drift in and out of conversations naturally, they understand jokes, they understand tones. Richelle doesn't. As noah grows more distracted by Jacquie, and Lola tries her hardest in her and Richelle's friendship which Richelle is still struggling to understand the rules of, the emotional distance between Richelle and her dance mentor, Emily, grows. As the next step has just won regionals, they advance to nationals. But, a huge opportunity comes up with Dancemania, that they just can't pass up. What is A-Troupe going to do?
