Ben is somewhat strange, at least for his small town in the middle of nowhere, right in the center of the Bible belt. The small town Grace is not known for his hospitality or acceptance of Lgbtq+ people. And that is what he is, to be fair he is closed, so nobody knows he doesn't fit in bit he knows, and sometimes it's a living he'll not be who he wants to. So when he gets a unmarked letter with a confession of being gay he has to find out who the other closed gay is, who somehow managed to write this beautiful letter that speaks right out of his soul. And when he finds out if it is worth the risk and dangers, that being with another boy brings.
