When the fiercely independent Lennon Murphy finds herself completely isolated from the rest of the world besides her parents, her horses, and a couple hundred head of cattle, she wonders what the thing will be to break her loneliness.

Pacey Garrett just moved into town after a devastating end to his bull riding career. He realizes he is no longer able to do what he really loves, and after the lights in the arena turn off, the party stops, and all the people leave... He has nothing to show for it. No friends, no parents, no one to hold at night.

The two meet after Lennon rolls her truck. Does this accident actually turn out to be the best thing that's ever happened to her and to him?

Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. But one night something happens which finally pushes him over the edge, and as a result, he leaves his house the next morning with two things: his mother's gun and a plan. Living with a neglectful and drug addicted mother wasn't easy for Jay, and it definitely didn't help that his father abandoned the family while he was still a child. He harbored a hatred toward his parents, and that hatred extended to almost everyone and everything around him, producing a very troubled and damaged young kid. As Jay enters high school, he becomes very intrigued with one of his classmates. Kind of obsessed, actually. Her name: Mikayla Keeler. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.

Jessie White stands out from the crowd. As a Southern woman, she defies the typical expectations. While others her age are embarking on new careers, Jessie's upbringing on a ranch alongside four brothers equipped her with skills many would balk at. She's adept at horseback riding, calving, stall cleaning, and more. Fiercely independent, Jessie refuses to rely on any man, a resolve hardened after heartbreak at the hands of Max Lane, a rancher's son, two years prior. Jessie has resolved to take up bull riding, a skill that appears to be a family legacy. Her lifelong dream has been to ride a bull before an audience, but now, her ambition has shifted to rescuing the White Family Ranch after a substantial portion of their funds vanished and debts began accumulating. Max Lane's family is eager to buy the White Family Ranch, but Jessie refuses to let him take away the one thing that sustains her. Being a beauty bartender owner and a female bull rider makes things challenging. Everyone says she can't do it because she's a woman, but Jessie is determined to prove them all wrong. Initially skeptical, Trace Black doesn't recognize her potential until he witnesses her mount a bull for the first time. Although he may appear arrogant externally, that pales in comparison to his internal complexity. Trace and Jessie are initially oblivious to their chemistry, though it's evident to everyone around them. As Jessie gathers the courage to express her feelings to Trace, the things she dreads occur. However, it doesn't make matters worse; it alters everything profoundly. *WARNING* Book contains language, child loss, trauma, etc. Thank you for choosing my story! The Turning Point

72 parts Complete Mature

Tragedy and loss have left Heloyse adrift, trapped in a void where pain is her only companion. Seeking an escape, she throws herself into the unknown-not to find herself, but to forget, even if only for a moment. Her journey leads her to vast, lonely lands, where she discovers the warmth of belonging. But in the dark eyes of a rancher scarred by the past, she finds something more-a silent fire, a mirror of her own pain. He hides behind walls built by loss, refusing to feel. Cold. Distant. Untouchable. Two broken hearts, two souls condemned to wander the shadows of their memories. But when desire defies solitude and love slips through the cracks, can redemption be found? Or will the past always demand its price? "The Turning Point" is a story of invisible scars, of passions that burn like fire, and of love's devastating power-to heal, but also to destroy.
