There are those among us who always seem to find the right door, open the right envelope, love the right person. They are commonplace, everyday heros whose every action seems to lighten the leaden air around us. They cast a subtle golden glow to the dreary, and in actions both small and large, unfailingly raise the beating tempo of our hearts. This power they seem to possess is as intangible as it is mysterious. They live with the expectation that all will be well, that things happen for a reason, and that good will overcome. It is in the face of this silver lined optimism that the dark threads of evil begin to weave their tales of discord. For evil is drawn to such souls as the starving are drawn to the fragrant scents of a boiling stew. It cannot resist.

[ON HOLD] An age gap dark romance. She wasn't afraid of his darkness; she craved it - and he let her crawl inside, knowing she'd never find the way out. • ✧ • Her obsession started innocently enough. A glance, a spark - nothing more than an attraction at first. But as days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, she couldn't escape him. He was everywhere. In her thoughts. In her dreams. And she couldn't stop herself from wanting more. He didn't make it easy, though. Cold, distant, and guarded - he kept her at arm's length. Yet, the pull between them grew stronger. Every glance, every subtle touch, sent a shock of electricity through her. And though he fought against it, something in him, too, started to stir - a feeling he wasn't willing to acknowledge. But there was a secret. One she couldn't yet uncover. He was hiding something. Something dark. And somewhere in the world, as she lost herself in him, someone was killing people, one by one - a faceless killer, leaving no trace behind. The name? No one knows, but they call 'The Phantom.' As the mystery deepened, she couldn't help but wonder... Was she falling for a man who could destroy her, or was she already lost in his web, unaware of the danger lurking just beyond the surface?
