If Kristen's death broke the Craft family, Tommy's suicide shattered it. Each family member blaming each other for the fate of the youngest son, the no-longer Craft family split apart. Ten years after the suicide of Wilbur's younger brother Tommy, Wilbur drunkenly opened up to his friends about his biggest regret, but when asked if he wanted the chance to change what happened, Wilbur and the rest of his estranged family members wake up ten years in the past, one week before Tommy killed himself. Wilbur was surprised that he noticed such a small thing, but he supposed it accounted for the surprise that he had noticed earlier. 'Oh, I prefer Wilbur if that's okay sir. My social worker always forgot to call me Wilbur and I stopped correcting him a while back.' He replied, choosing to ignore the feeling of anxiety at the realisation that was the most he had talked throughout their meeting. 'Alright mate. Oh, and please call me Phil. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that. After all, can a story ever be that simple? Trigger warnings are at the top of each chapter. There aren't many but check them out anyway. Tommy gets so absorbed in his problems and everything that's going on in his own life he doesn't notice that his brothers are struggling with things too -besides their addictions-. The Watson family is a bit more than a mess, more like a house full of mentally ill people who need help, but won't seek it. Tommy hasn't had the best of life's but he's not complaining, he parents died in a car crash, so he's been going through the foster care system since he was 7, and everyone at the orphanage seems to hate him. When Tommy is finally adopted by Phil, he doesn't really trust the kindness that others have.. Let's see if Phil can fix Tommy too. ~tw~ -Alcohol abuse -self harm ( urges and talk of relapse ) -fire -Abuse(verbal and physical) -violence - fights -blood/gore and injury -panic attacks etc. (no ships) ew.

"If you did, nobody would believe you," he reminded. "After all, they already think we're fucking insane." When three children are brought to the hospital with no legal guardians or documentation and a barely-believable tale to explain it all, they're labeled as compulsive liars and packaged away into foster care with little more than a glance. Phil is an experienced foster parent. He wasn't expecting to take three emergency placements at once, but he's the one to handle it. Unfortunately for him, he can't help but think that these kids are telling the truth; and that's only scarier.
