Wilbur was surprised that he noticed such a small thing, but he supposed it accounted for the surprise that he had noticed earlier. 'Oh, I prefer Wilbur if that's okay sir. My social worker always forgot to call me Wilbur and I stopped correcting him a while back.' He replied, choosing to ignore the feeling of anxiety at the realisation that was the most he had talked throughout their meeting. 'Alright mate. Oh, and please call me Phil. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that. After all, can a story ever be that simple? Trigger warnings are at the top of each chapter. There aren't many but check them out anyway. I miss my DSMP era, like, a LOT. I wanna make a fanfic because my phase started late. Story Premise: After Tubbo's nuke went off, the world/server was completely destroyed. Every soul was sent to live again in a better world, a world that is... normal? Hardcore. Modern. They're all born into normal lives- all but Tommy. He remembers everything. And he has to learn things are different now. Safer. Disclaimer: "W" is a part of this story, but keep in mind, he is based off of the CHARACTER. I do not wish to discuss my view on the "problem". Things were alright on the SMP, Wilbur and Tommy had already established L'manburg, Dream was angry at the two of them but didn't seem to be doing much about it, not too much conflict was going on.
