Chronicles of Illirah: Genesis

The world of Illirah is off balance. The seasonal rains that kept the deserts hospitable have disappeared. The oceans have become so turbulent just being on their shores is deadly. The northern territories have been enveloped in an impenetrable shroud for over a millennium. Now the land of the Crystalline is under siege by a powerful and nearly ancient threat. For 17 years the Shardbound Empire has attempted to unite the south western region of Illirah forging an alliance with the 10 lion prides remaining in the grasslands...all other predators are expendable as far as the Emperor is concerned. Tariq, a scimitar cat from the highlands bordering the Empire learns this first hand when he, his father, and elder sister are captured by the Empire to be used as fodder for the Emperor's soon-to-be war with the smilodon, bear, and hyena kingdoms to the south. It will take all of Tariq's wit and patience as well as the help from unlikely allies to save not only his family, but potentially all of Illirah itself.
