After 25 Year old Sadie Adler loses her husband in a confrontation gone horribly wrong with the infamous O'Driscolls, she searches desperately for anyone who could spare her a room while the 1899 storm calms down, as her house was burnt to the ground. It is then that she meets 23 Year Old Kaylee Jones who lives with her boyfriend of 4 years, Shawn. Both Shawn and Kaylee happily agree to let Sadie stay for as long as she wished!
The O'Driscoll boys were still out for blood and knew Sadie was alive, somewhere, and in an angry search, storm into Kaylee and Shawn's home.

His relationship with Mary-Beth is on the line as she has been drawn closer to him, though his heart is still torn over his previous lover's loss.
