When they were 11, Barry's mother had died in a murder and his father was accused to have her. Ever since then, Barry has lived with Tori. Tori went to Starling University to study in music and art, Barry went to Gotham University to study in forensic science, and Iris stayed in Central City and went to Central University to study journalism. Barry worked as a CSI for the CCPD, Iris was looking for a job as a journalist, and Tori had a part-time job as a barista at Jitters and a performer after her shift. Barry was affected by a lightning bolt from the particle accelerator explosion, putting him in a coma for 9 months.
