Going on a secret expedition Katniss and her Father set off for a couple days where he will show her the true nature of the Capitol. But when the plan goes wrong Katniss will have to see her father go through terrible pain, and not the kind of pain that can be undone, in exchange for her freedom. Can she change Snow's decision or will her Father have to suffer?
