During the war in order to protect your land and it's people you used a power that would cost you your life. Only it didn't, instead you were put in a deep sleep. When you awaken much later you saw your land and your precious people gone. Seeing your home was conquered by one of the seven victors you left to wonder in search of a new home.

During your travels you found him. You took him under your wing and decided to be his family. You failed your people, but you won't fail him.

(Will be very loosely based on lore. As it inspired by Scaramouche's background cutscenes. It's a more of a 'what if Scaramouche was found by someone else' kind of fanfic. I will eventually add the rest of the characters as it starts out with Scaramouche)
