Drawn From the Dark

Homicide detective Magnolia Murray is no stranger to pain, but the sudden loss of her father tears open old wounds and reawakens her nightmares. Beset by doubt and hounded by memories, her only instinct is to flee.

When offered the chance to start anew, far from her fresh grief and dark past, she can almost be relieved - until meeting her surly new partner, Dean Corbin, and being confronted by the grim case that he wanted solved yesterday.
