Amity is just trying to survive college. She's stuck with a band of immature bullies and a major she hates, all for her mother's financial benefit. She feels half full, half alive. Until, against her will, she finds herself in a peculiar coffee shop.

Luz  is just trying to survive her job. Between the same two troublemakers scaring her customers away and her own messy personal life, it's not easy. She's happy with her position in life, but something is missing, something that she couldn't quite place, until a peculiar girl stumbles into her shop.

When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough? But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. But when things between her and the girl she hates most in this world, Luz Noceda, start to change as well, she discovers that maybe there is more between them than just their hate for each other. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?" She inquired as I slipped my hand into her offered one. "And what is it that they say?" I raised a brow and a glint of emotion flashed in her eyes. "Keep your friends close," she said before gripping my hand in hers, "and your enemies closer."

Amity Blight had a strict childhood to say the least. Her family was prestigious and had a very strict way on how to act. Amity never got the freedom and life she wanted. Forced friends, forced smiles, forced dress codes. Amity hated every second of it. But then Luz the human came crashing in, and that ruined everything. Luz changed Amity for the better, and consequently, Amity started to develop feelings for the over-excited female. So Amity eventually built up the courage to finally get it out of her mind and confess to her. Unfortunately, it doesn't go as planned.

It was no secret amongst herself that she wanted to see and memorize Luz's abs, to feel her defined chest muscles she had surgery to make flat. to recognize the peach fuzz three months of testosterone gave her.. to drown in the smoothness of her voice. Amity still had it bad, Luz however had already accepted that Amity was taken, Amity.. hated that. So the struggle began for one girl, as the other happily went on with the last three years of college. ⚠️⚠️cursing, cigarette and alcohol use, sexual intercourse and possibly a few cases of assault(what school doesn't have a fistfight or two??)⚠️⚠️
