After being forced to take an irreversible quirk Bakugo knows there is no way to go back to his old life. Although he does try but is pushed down again and again eventually he starts to give up. That's when one of the worlds most dangerous villains is caught and is sent to be rehabilitated at UA. BAkugo feels safer with a villain than with his own class and he's ashamed of it but can't help it. Despite the quirk which in some of his class mates opinions was a good thing he is suffering from the side effects and doesn't know how to deal with his feelings towards the villain so instead just ignores him.

Not only did he get a reality check about his dream but he also got a live long lesson from... well life. If it was going acording to Izuku then life could screw him over and go fuck itself in hell.
