The Golden Ratio

We didn't end with a bang we ended with a small whisper. There were no slamming doors, no middle finger salutes, nor loud profanities. There was no outlet for me to yell my discomfort of how the things had ended between us.

And that's how the story of me and the guy I thought was my best friend ended.
