This story is about two lovers. Benji Oleta is an immortal, born and bred in the world of the Never Dead. For thousands of years the boundary between these two worlds has been broken, allowing mortals and immortals to cross the portal to each world without dying, all as a result of the almighty Ancient. With his constant supply of Liquid Dima blood, these beings are able to move between worlds, form relationships, and have children. However, if any of these beings stop taking their daily dose of Liquid Dima outside their homeworld, they will cease to exist.
