Story Trigger Warnings: - Manipulation - Panic Attacks - Abuse - Self Harm - Violence - Obsessive Behavior? - Suicidal implications (TW will be at the top of chapters with these topics in them, but most chapters do, so be careful.) I also wasn't sure if obsessive behavior should be a TW but I'll add it just in case. Esther found herself in a relationship with this beautiful girl, Victoria, or 'Vi', they were both 21 and moved into a house together. Esther worked at a coffee shop, and her girlfriend edited YouTube videos, as well as0 writing paid stories on wattpad. Neither of their jobs paid amazingly, but they were living somewhat comfortably with a fortune that Esther's grandmother had given her when she passed. They were a happy couple, but Esther started being worried about going home. Vi had sometimes gotten mad when Esther came home late, or if she looked exhausted, or really for a slight problem. There was nothing wrong though, right? Victoria just wanted Esther to be happy and perfect. That's reasonable, Esther's parents wanted that too when see was living with them. Though, they usually grounded her, or took away a few of her privileges, they didn't slap her, most of the time. It was fine though, Vi loved Esther. That would never change. (I hope things seem somewhat realistic, I usually base things off my own experiences, and I'm no expert on everything I want in this story. ~Kai) P.S. ~ Do not expect fast updates, I prefer to spend a lot of time writing, revising, and editing my work rather than trying to get chapters out as fast as possible. Chapters will be longer though, so I think it's worth it to read long, quality chapters over a long duration of time, rather than poorly written short chapters over a shorter amount of time. I also don't wanna burn myself out :))

Odd Rose

-"Why are you crying?" What, I didn't know I was crying. -"Come on." He offers a hand to help me up. -"Stay away... from me." I get up on my own a grunt escaping my lips when I feel pain in my knees. -"Your knees!" He crouches down to look at them up close. -"Oh don't act as if you care." I look down and see he has wet hair, which is reasonable since he came out of the bathroom. *Swoop* He scoops me up, my injured knees on his left and my head rests on his right shoulder. I hitch as he picks me up. -"What do you think you're doing? Put me down this instant!" I try to wiggle out of his arms, but it's useless, he holds me tighter to his chest. He gently places me on the bed, and I sit on the edge, I instantly throw my hand to his face intending to slap him. As if it were muscle memory he blocks my hand and gently holds it. He crouches down not breaking eye contact. -"Stella, I'm... sorry. I acted out on you." I know Jacob, and that probably was hard for him to admit. -"Let me treat your knees." He places a gentle hand over my wound. ~ ~ ~ ~ Her Dad was murdered fighting for what was right, her mom didn't love her dad all that much...or her, she plans to follow her dad's footsteps even though that might lead her to death.
