The key to being yourself is to embrace what you are. 

But how can you do that when the world hunts the very thing that you are, that you identify as?

In the land of kingdom Leith, there are a few in society who are different, who don't quite fit in. Citizens have been calling them The Gifted Ones, people blessed with magic, blessed with a special gift. Magicians who are a threat to the Crown, a threat to the citizens, or so the Queen says. 
So they get killed on the spot, driven into a corner and slaughtered like animals. 

But to the Gifted Ones themselves, their magic isn't a blessing. They are forced to live with constant anxiety,  with constant fear to be caught. They don't show themselves often in public, they don't make their voices be heard. Until one day. 

A girl who thieves for a living, gifted with ShapeShifting powers meets a cocky, optimistic Empath boy. 

They meet by faith, their future intertwined. Together they decide to fight for their freedom, to escape their miserable lives of uncertainty and fear. 

Will they succeed in escaping? Will they finally get the freedom they both dreamed of?

Once upon a time, there lived a poor little girl in the dirty streets of the human world. With her parents gone and her having to survive alone, she became strong and stiff. As the little girl grew older, she learned dark secret of heart-break, forever sealing her heart in a wall of steel. From that day forward she decided never to want to love again. The girl forever knew that he was only hers and he knew that she was only his. Then they lived happily ever after. Except, that's not how the story went. That 'happily ever after' never happened. Actually, everything in the last two paragraphs never happened. My name is Syrina. I am NightStrike and I have entered the largest pack in the world. My cousin, my mortal enemy. My heart, stone. We all die someday right? That may be the truth unless you are granted with the gift of immortality. Now what do you to make your time on earth, worth living? ---- When a demon is suddenly created into this world, with no knowledge and no giving purpose of why he's there in the first place, he begins to interact with the world itself and the residences among the beautiful land to realize that mortal beings don't really appreciate his presence. It's not until a girl is welcomed into his life after bumping into him one day in the forest and she seems to be different from the others. With her help, he will soon realized that it may take a lifetime away to figure out the reason he was given the chance to be apart of this beautiful lie we call living. (Warning: I wrote this at 16, the plot is... ehhhhh)
