No Ordinary Girl
ATTENTION READERS: I will be removing the complete story in a month (March 2nd, 2021 or so) so please keep that in mind when starting this story. I will be publishing it on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. I would love to keep it on here, but Amazon KU has exclusivity rules... :( Thanks for all your support! Anna Jenkins wears quirky t-shirts, loves her little sister and her cat, binge watches The Vampire Diaries, and is addicted to Tic Tacs. Yet Anna is no ordinary girl - she's been reading people for as long as she can remember. For Anna, the only way to feel normal is to hide from the world, and that's exactly what she does. Until a brush with tragedy changes her life forever. Anna is exiled to the prestigious RAMS Academy, a school for gifted students with psychic powers, a place where she might finally fit in. At "Freak Academy", everyone's a little... strange. She befriends a Healer, falls for a boy who plays with fire and can read her mind, and is tempted by a Spellbinder who has the power to control her. They must all work together, and their first assignment is to assist in the search for Haley Henderson, a missing toddler. Anna is desperate to find her. But first, she must finally stop hiding, and find herself.Complete
Get A Life | ONC2023 Shortlist
While her best friend Cassidy snacks on brie and boys in France, Darcy Li-Quinn must face her last year of high school and the unpredictable wrath of her sister, Danica, alone. Darcy's plan for dealing with Danica and her heinous friends is simple-be invisible. But first, she's promised Cassidy she'll do 'one brave thing'. Mustering the courage to say 'hi' to the cute boy on the bus, Darcy expects rejection or indifference. She doesn't anticipate a grumpy ghost with unfinished business who needs her help. Suddenly, a quiet year of flying under the radar looks increasingly unlikely. *** Rationally, Hunter Viera knows that his brother's death wasn't his fault. But that doesn't stop his guilt about Archer invading his every thought or lessen the grief sitting heavy in his chest. Changing schools offers a fresh start, and Hunter's plan is simple-be invisible. But he hasn't counted on Darcy, or her ludicrous claim that Archer speaks to her from beyond the grave. Suddenly, a quiet year of sitting on the sidelines looks increasingly unlikely. *** This is a story about hearts and hope and public transport. This is Darcy and Hunter's story (and a little bit Archer's too). *** 'Get A Life' is my entry for Open Novella Contest 2023 and is inspired by the following prompts. 20. You finally build enough courage to talk to that cute someone you see every day on the bus. Their face turns dark as they respond "You shouldn't be able to see me." 9. There's an urban legend that's been circulating for years about a taxi cab that doesn't take you where you want to go, but where you need to go. One night, you stepped into this cab.Complete
Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister KitComplete

Terrible Things (Boyxboy)
((Written in 2013!!!! Read at your own risk!!)) Adrian's life is pretty complicated, as you can imagine. His parents expect nothing but the best out of him, and if not received, they beat him. His social anxiety makes school a living hell. One day, a new kid shows up. He's from the UK and his name is Jamie. Jamie seems different than anyone Adrian has ever met. He confuses the kid. Jamie knows there is something that Adrian is hiding. And something he's hiding himself. Jamie is actually gay. It's the reason he's moved so much, because none of his other schools are willing to accept it.Could things change when Jamie realizes he's falling for Adrian? And worse, kids in the town are being kidnapped by a strange van. What will Adrian do once Jamie is one of those kids? ~Yes, this is boyxboy. It's my way of saying that being gay is freaking awesome and I think there should be more romance stories with gay relationships, not just straight ones. So, don't like? Don't read and don't waste my time with homophobic crap.Thanks. Also, comments are wonderful!~Complete
