"Peter's son?" All the bed time stories my mom told me were real?
"Yea, Peter's son. You must be Wendy's daughter."
"I suppose I am."

I took a breath and quickly wiped a stray tear from my eye, "I'm tired of living in their shadows, waiting for them to finally realize that I still exist.
